About Liora
My passion for piano began with a fascination for melody, harmony, and the emotional depth music can communicate through performance. This interest encouraged me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Music followed by a Master’s Degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy. Over the past 13 years, I have guided learners through piano development using patient teaching and supportive instruction. I enjoy simplifying difficult musical concepts into manageable lessons that help students build confidence steadily. Watching students improve their musical expression and technical ability continues motivating me as a tutor. My teaching philosophy focuses on creativity, understanding, and supportive learning instead of pressure or perfection. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable exploring music openly.
Throughout my teaching experience, I have worked with beginners, hobby musicians, and advanced learners preparing for performances and music examinations. These experiences have helped me understand the importance of flexibility and patience when supporting different learning styles. I use demonstrations, guided repetition methods, and structured exercises to help students progress steadily without feeling overwhelmed.
