About Mariela
After 13 years in youth symphony and regional chamber ensembles, I realized that my transition to teaching was inevitable. I found that I truly enjoy the challenge of teaching jazz improvisation, memorization techniques, chord voicing, posture and hand position, ear training, classical repertoire, sight transposition, hand independence, rhythm and timing.
