About Emma
I have spent the past ten years working in office based business analyst roles whilst maintaining constant study, volunteering and commissions in order to chase my dreams of forming a career within creative industries. I bring with me both extensive experience as a professional analyst with an eye for detail but also teaching, training and photography experience.
Photographing since the age of 15 I have significant knowledge and skills in this area. I understand and regularly undertake darkroom processing (including set up and breakdown) , digital photograph processing (utilising Photoshop) and printing/ mounting images ready for exhibition or portfolios. I am currently a part-time lecturer in Photography at a local college
During my time, I have undertaken many commissions for clients including weddings, events, portraits, babies and products. I have received lots of positive feedback from clients and continue to complete commissioned works regularly. This gives me hands on job experience of professional photography practises, which is of a great help when advising students.

Teaching methodology is very practical based (for obvious reasons) but both theory work and post production classes will be more tutorial based with the options of trying it out afterwards. Small assignments are set in between classes in order to continue learning and gain skills.
