About Meagan
I fell in love with photography at age five, when I received a Barbie Polaroid camera for Christmas. I saw everything as an opportunity to take a photo. Over the years, my friends and family put in long hours waiting around for me to get the perfect shot.
I received a degree in Hospitality Management from Penn State and have been knee deep in the wedding industry ever since! When i’m not working, you can find me drinking coffee and playing with my friends’ pets—and taking pictures of coffee and my friends’ pets!
WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO:
Nothing quite gives me the same adrenaline rush as capturing a good photo or thinking of a new idea. I love being able to freeze your emotions for the rest of time. One of my favorite things to do is to look through my family's old photos and I can't help but imagine you doing the same thing one day. Fifty years from now you will still have these photos to look back on. What an amazing honor for me to have!
With each person I photograph I feel like I gain a new friend. I love being able to watch them grow as a couple or family through the years. I love being able to photograph the same people time and time again. Nothing feels as good as photographing a wedding, then a maternity shoot, and then a new family! I love being able to watch and capture all of life's big moments for you! Sometimes I am still shocked that this is my job!
I have helped people over the years learn more about photography and develop a real passion for it. From friends to second shooters from seconds shooters who become friends!
