About Phoebe
I have lived in France and attended French schools (primaire, college, lycée) from the ages of 5 to 18. Having studied the French curriculum at length and received a grade of 16,5 at the French Baccalaureate (the equivalent (A-levels): A*A*A) I am very well equipped to help you in anything you need when it comes to learning French. My mother being French and my father being English, I have grown up fluent in both languages, so my accents are perfect, a skill I can utilise to help you perfect yours. The French schooling system teaches French grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing at length (10 straight years I spent learning that :)), so I am very well versed in those domains too. Other than that, I'm very enthusiastic, I love teaching (I taught many of my French friends back home English) and am very flexible timings wise :) I look forward to helping you achieve your French speaking goals!!!

Having taught many of my friends back home English, I know how to tackle learning new languages (I have spent 5 years learning Spanish myself). It's not easy, especially with a language such as French, with its many different quirks. But I am very happy to help! I've learnt that having an enthusiastic and patient tutor means a lot, someone passionate about their job is infinitely more interesting, and I am dedicated and look forward to helping you learn French. Having someone who can actually speak the language with the correct accent is also incredibly helpful, don't worry about that, my French accent is perfect! Getting to know how people learn is also a good trick, everyone learns differently but speaking from experience, I believe I know quite a few different methods of teaching and one will most definitely be suited to you.
