About Madeline
I have a BA (hons) in English from the University of Exeter, where my 8,000-word dissertation was on Madness, Murder, and Suicide in Louisa May Alcott’s Sensation Fiction. I graduated from Kingston University with a distinction for my MFA in Creative Writing, where my 40,000-word dissertation was practice-based and examined horror in the young adult realm. I am currently a PhD student at the University of Bristol, writing my practice-based creative-writing 80,000-word thesis (50,000 words being a novel excerpt and 30,000 words a critical paper). I also have experience in writing academic journal articles and conference papers. For my creative writing, I am represented by Amy Collins at Talcott Notch Literary.
