About Farouq
I am a veterinarian (Dr. Vet. Med.) and PhD scientist with more than eight years of experience in research and university teaching in biological and biomedical sciences. I completed my PhD in Infectious Diseases and Molecular Biology at the University of Adelaide and have taught and coordinated courses in biology, physiology, microbiology and related life-science subjects at the University of Adelaide, James Cook University, and Southwest University (China). I am also an award-winning educator, recognized for my commitment to clear, inclusive and student-centered teaching. My name is Farouq, and I am a veterinarian (Dr. Vet. Med.) and PhD scientist with extensive experience in university teaching and research in biological and biomedical sciences.
