About Emily
I am Dr Emily and my PhD is in molecular microbiology. My undergraduate studies were in biochemistry. I have previously taught practical skills and course content to bachelors students studying biology at university as well as marked exams and essays. I now mainly tutor biology A level.
I am very passionate about biology (and STEM in general) and use my enthusiasm to help tutor students and make sure the subject is enjoyable for them. l love helping build confidence and that ah-ha! moment when a concept clicks.

I tutor A level biology (and sometimes undergraduate degree level biology). Typical lessons last 1 hr and are tailored to your needs. If there is a concept or topic you are struggling with, I can help you understand it in a way that makes sense to you. Understand the concepts but struggle to write long answer exam questions or don't know how to tackle applied questions? We'll go through exam technique and lots of practice so you feel comfortable doing them and getting all the marks you deserve for your knowledge.
