I have had a long career in scientific research in biomedical and health research and lectured at University. I've also always tutored as I enjoy teaching and get a lot of joy from helping people achieve their goals. Easy going but focused on helping you learn. I always ask my students to let me know what topics they want to revise or need help with in advance. I then prepare materials and work through the topics with them at their own pace. I can adapt to what the student prefers, either teaching or problem solving approaches. I can't set tests and practice papers to check we're progressing.
