About Patrick
Hello everyone,
My name is Dr. Patrick, and I am a qualified biochemist with a PhD in Biochemistry from Nelson Mandela University. I have several years of experience teaching and tutoring students in subjects such as Biology, Microbiology, and basic Human Physiology.
Over the years, I have worked both as a lecturer at university level and as a researcher studying topics like how microbes spread in water and how natural substances from mushrooms can help fight harmful bacteria. While my research is quite advanced, my passion is helping students understand science in a simple and clear way.
As your tutor, my goal is to make learning less stressful and more understandable. I break down difficult topics into manageable steps, use practical examples, and encourage questions. There are no “silly” questions in my sessions — if something is unclear, we work through it together.
You can expect me to be professional, prepared, and supportive. I will help you build confidence, improve your problem-solving skills, and prepare effectively for tests and exams.
