About Mohit

Hello, my name is Mohit, and I am a PhD-qualified Computer Scientist and Assistant Professor with over 10 years of teaching, research, and mentoring experience.

Throughout my academic career, I have taught and supervised students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Programming, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Research Methods. My passion for teaching comes from helping students overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals.

I understand that every student learns differently. Whether you are preparing for Junior Cycle or Leaving Certificate examinations, struggling with a university module, or looking to improve your programming skills, I provide a supportive and structured learning environment tailored to your individual needs.

My teaching approach is focused on building strong fundamentals, developing problem-solving skills, and helping students gain confidence in their abilities. Rather than relying on memorization, I aim to ensure that students understand the underlying concepts so they can apply their knowledge effectively in exams and real-world situations.

For Mathematics and Physics, I break down complex topics into simple, manageable steps and use practical examples to reinforce understanding. For Computer Science and Programming, I emphasize practical learning through coding exercises, projects, and real-world applications. I tailor each lesson to the student's individual needs, strengths, and learning pace.

My teaching methodology includes:

Assessing the student's current level and identifying knowledge gaps.
Creating a personalized learning plan.
Explaining concepts clearly with examples and visual aids where appropriate.
Guided practice with exam-style questions and problem-solving exercises.
Regular feedback and progress tracking.
Exam preparation strategies, including time management and question analysis.

Lessons are typically 60 minutes in length, although 90-minute sessions can be arranged for advanced topics, exam preparation, or university-level subjects.

I hold a PhD in Computer Science and currently work as an Assistant Professor. I have more than 10 years of experience in teaching, tutoring, research, and mentoring students at undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional levels. My expertise includes Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Python Programming, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Research Methods.

I offer lessons for:

Junior Cycle Mathematics
Leaving Certificate Mathematics (Ordinary and Higher Level)
Leaving Certificate Physics
Applied Mathematics
Undergraduate Computer Science and Engineering students
University-level Mathematics, Programming, Data Science, and AI modules
Adult learners and professionals seeking to improve their programming or data analytics skills

Lessons can be delivered online or in person, depending on location and availability. My goal is not only to help students achieve excellent results but also to develop the confidence and analytical thinking skills needed for long-term academic and professional success.
