Tamara was the Sr. Academic Chair of my major during my time at the Art Institute. Not only was she there to bridge the gap between the staff and admin, but she was also there for the students. She was always willing to listen and was diplomatic about decisions.

I studied under Tamara during my time at the Art Institute, where she led as Academic Director. She had a genuine passion for design education, and the program felt purposeful and well-directed. I'd recommend her to anyone looking for a professional and committed tutor.

Tamara was my college advisor and mentor. Because I worked full-time to pay for college and was unable to take a traditional internship, Tamara worked with me and my schedule and offered me the opportunity to work on her website for my internship requirements. She helped me navigate my course load, reviewed my portfolio, and helped me secure a position in the design studio course (reserved for only a handful of top performing students every year). I now have over 10 years experience
in design, art direction, and advertising. I have won a National Addy Award and an Emmy - made possible by Tamara’s guidance and mentorship during my college years.

Tamara and I have been friends for more than two decades. We worked together at a post-secondary school as teachers. She advanced her career as an academic advisor and then as Assistant Dean of Education, while still maintaining a presence in the classroom. She is a most competent instructor, primarily because of her attention to detail and the comprehensive feedback she provides to her students. I can highly recommend Tamara for any position that involves teaching, instruction, or tutoring.
