Teaching method and techniques:
I focus on breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps, while also reinforcing understanding through active recall, practice problems, and discussion. I emphasize not just memorization, but true comprehension so students can apply what they learn independently.
Typical lesson plan:
Our first session is a brief introduction to build comfort and assess the student’s current level, goals, and challenges. From there, sessions are structured based on need—this may include reviewing class material, working through practice problems, strengthening study strategies, or building organization and time management skills. I adjust each lesson in real time based on progress.

I have a strong academic background across multiple disciplines, including finance, economics, and now medicine. I’ve studied in a variety of academic environments (community college, university, and a top-ranked undergraduate program), which allows me to connect with students from different backgrounds and learning situations.
