About Lily
I am a committed piano tutor with over 12 years of experience helping students from school, college, and professional backgrounds develop their musical skills and confidence. I believe that learning piano is more than just technique—it is about creativity, self-expression, and enjoyment. My teaching methodology focuses on patience, clear communication, and personalized instruction.
I assess each student’s abilities and goals, then create lessons that strengthen fundamentals such as finger technique, hand coordination, rhythm, and sight-reading. I also teach music theory, ear training, and rhythm exercises to provide well-rounded musicianship.
Lessons are engaging, interactive, and often include song practice, improvisation, and performance preparation. I guide students to build confidence, maintain consistent practice routines, and stay motivated. In addition to piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. My goal is to provide lessons that build technical ability, expressive confidence, and a lifelong passion for music.
