About Vidya

Carnatic music has been my passion from a very early age. I have been learning slokas from the age of 2 and eventually from the age of 4 I have started learning Carnatic music from different teachers. I have alone learnt carnatic and western music using the keyboard; My journey in learning music continues till date. I have been performing with my sister in small temples , wedding functions. My journey in music was enriched by teaching carnatic vocal music to people of all ages. I have been teaching for more than 5 years and my teaching experience has helped me to understand music better.

About the class

I aim at achieving strong fundamentals in students and impart in them a great interest in whatever they learn. My music classes will contain sloka lessons, bhajans, keerthanas along with the conventionalmusic lessons. I make sure I record all my lessons after every class and also ensure the students are thorough with the previous lesson before every class. Music lessons will be made simple and fun.

I started learning Music with her with a goal that my 3year old daughter will start learning carnatic music. To my surprise it happened in very short period(regardless of virtual classes), because she loved the teacher, her kindness and cute talk with the kids.
Mrs.Vidhya Vasudevan has gravitational force , thereby kids love to sing and even excited for next carnatic classes.

To be mentioned , her voice is really so amazing . A very sweet teacher. She records the song for us, which has been taught and thereby we can practice before the next class. I am glad that I found her in Superprof.

I will definitely recommend her .
