About Arianna
My name is Arianna, I am a journalism student at UC3M. I lived in Dublin, Ireland for two years, where I improved my english, and my certifications include a Kaplan Proficiency certificate. I have been teaching English for a long time, and I have also worked as a camp guide with children. I think that learning English can be achieved through fun tasks that encourage creativity, which is why I have been working as an Au Pair for some years. In addition to this, I have taught English classes to high school students. I consider that I have patience and a vocation to explain and my main goal is that my students learn something new every day!

It is essential for me that those who want to learn English learn at least 5 new words every day. We keep a notebook with the vocabulary learned, for the little ones with illustrations of the new words to help them remember.
I usually ask my students to write me writings about a specific topic to measure their level of English, and from then on I adapt my corrections to their needs, and from time to time, through their writing, I measure their progress. It is important for me that they practice their pronunciation and feel like our classes are a safe space to make mistakes. During my classes we will be speaking in English at all times, (I will answer any questions in Spanish if necessary). I help students by making corrections of their homework, and to prepare for any exam from elementary school to high school.
I like to play different creative games that make learning English a fun experience for all my students. It is very important to me that they feel comfortable and confident to ask any question, and that in each session they know that they have learned something new.
