I have been friends with Marie since 2010 when we lived together. She worked as a French and Spanish teacher in a local secondary school and we often heard about the new and exciting activities she had invented to try and encourage these angsty young teenagers to learn another language. From speed dating to food tasting sessions she put so much effort into those lesson plans. My favourite was the idioms test that she trialled on us, resulting in fits of laughter.
We now have children of a similar age and her dedication to teaching, attention to detail and meticulous planning has extended into the art of tuff trays. With learning outcomes decided and resources researched these tuff trays are a thing of beauty. All they need is a willing toddler to engage!
