About Kal
Hi, I'm Kal, a Year 12 student with a passion for science, maths and helping others succeed. I'm aspiring to study Medicine and have completed work experience in both a care home and a hospital, where I gained valuable insight into communication, problem-solving and explaining complex ideas clearly. Through my time in the Combined Cadet Force, I developed leadership and teaching skills while instructing younger cadets, reinforcing my ability to be patient, organised and approachable.
I understand how stressful GCSEs can feel because I was in the same position not long ago. My goal is to make learning engaging, build confidence and help every student reach their full potential, whether they're aiming to improve their understanding or achieve the very highest grades.

My lessons are designed to build confidence, improve understanding and help students achieve the highest grades possible. I teach GCSE Maths, Biology and Chemistry, tailoring each lesson to the student's current ability and learning style. I break difficult topics into simple, manageable steps before reinforcing them with exam-style questions and proven revision techniques.
I achieved Grade 9s in GCSE Maths, Biology and Chemistry, giving me a strong understanding of both the subject content and what examiners are looking for. I also hold the JCIC (Junior Cadet Instructor Cadre) teaching qualification through the Combined Cadet Force, where I developed skills in planning lessons, communicating clearly and teaching groups effectively.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and are suitable for GCSE students looking to improve their understanding, build confidence or achieve top grades. Whether you're aiming to pass or striving for Grade 9s, I'll adapt every lesson to help you reach your goals.
