About Samantha
I'm currently a first-year nursing student at the University of Alberta. I study Anatomy and Physiology every day, so I can teach it in a way that feels practical, simple, and approachable. A typical lesson: - Quick review - Clear explanation of the topic - Diagram breakdown - Practice questions - Short study plan for next time I'm patient, I explain things clearly, and I create a comfortable space to ask questions. I teach with structure, accuracy, and genuine enthusiasm so students leave each lesson feeling stronger and more prepared. Who I teach: - Grades 6-12

I teach Anatomy & Physiology by breaking complex systems down into simple pieces. I don't believe in strictly memorization in A&P, rather, I believe that understanding why the body works the way it does is more important.
Instead of lecturing at a student, I walk through the concepts with them. I ask guiding questions, I check for understanding in real time, and I re-explain things until it fully clicks.
A typical lesson plan:
- Review of last session
- Core lesson
- Skill reinforcement
- Student teach back
-Mini study plan
Specific need accommodated:
- Students who find textbooks overwhelming
- Students who need structures study habits
- Students who need help understanding complex concepts
