I believe anyone who is searching for a teacher/tutor will find that Slade is totally committed to her “student” and will stick with them until they both feel confident that they have acquired an understanding of the subject and Slade feels her student does exhibit that understanding. As a former elected school board member in two separate states, I feel the recognition of trust and integrity, coupled with compassion, are ingredients I have looked for in others successfully, and Slade brings all three to the table, whether she is working with her physical therapy patients or patients in the assisted-living/memory care facilities where she has been the administrator. She is hands-on, and I’ve never known anyone who has felt differently.

Slade embodies what a good teacher is she is someone with great communication, good, listening skills, awesome, collaboration, adaptability, empathy and patience. Slade helped my 8th grade niece understand her pre-algebra class homework to the point Kelsey is now making a solid B+ in the class for her before she was barely making a C grade. Thank you Slade!!
