About Aszmed
I am a Year 9 student at Normanhurst Boys High School with a strong academic record and prior tutoring experience. I am a three-time Dux, a Top 1% ICAS Achiever (2024 & 2025), and a High Distinction recipient in REACH (2024 & 2025). Having recently completed the same curriculum and exam pathways, and also having had experience in tutoring previously, I understand current academic expectations and am able to explain concepts clearly and effectively to younger students, regardless of their current level.

My tutoring approach is clear, structured, and tailored to each student. I focus on building strong foundations, breaking down concepts step by step, and reinforcing understanding through guided and independent practice. For Selective Exam students, I place strong emphasis on exam technique, accuracy, and problem-solving strategies. My lessons are suitable for students in Year 7 and below seeking support, consolidation, or extension in maths.
Lessons are conducted online on Zoom, and typically run for 1–2 hours, depending on the student’s needs. Each lesson includes revision, explanation of new content, and targeted practice questions.
