About Ankit
Hello! I’m Ankit Kumar, an Engineering grad from IIEST Shibpur with a strong interest in Mathematics and Physics.
I have always enjoyed understanding how things work and solving problems logically, which is what led me to pursue Engineering. I now teach Math and Physics part-time because I genuinely enjoy helping students understand concepts that may initially seem difficult.
I believe a good teacher should be approachable, patient, and willing to explain a concept in different ways until the student truly understands it. My aim is to create a comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions freely, strengthen their fundamentals, and gradually become confident in their own problem-solving abilities.
Whether you need help with school academics, clearing doubts, strengthening your basics, or preparing for exams, I will adapt my teaching according to your learning needs.

My teaching approach is simple: understand the concept first, and then learn how to apply it. As an NITian and a professionally trained Electrical Engineer, I have a strong foundation in Mathematics and Physics, and I enjoy making difficult topics easier to understand.
I focus on building strong fundamentals rather than encouraging students to simply memorize formulas. I use simple explanations, practical examples, diagrams, and step-by-step problem solving to make concepts clear and engaging.
A typical class begins with a quick revision of previous topics, followed by the introduction of a new concept. I then solve a few examples with the student and give them problems to solve independently. I also encourage students to ask questions freely and clarify their doubts during the class.
Every student learns differently, so I adapt my pace and teaching style according to their level and requirements. My classes are intended primarily for school students, especially those studying Mathematics and Physics at the primary and secondary school levels.
My goal is not only to help students score better in exams, but also to develop their logical thinking, problem-solving ability, and confidence in Mathematics and Physics.
