About Emma
Born and raised in Tours, in the heart of the Loire Valley, I've been teaching French as a foreign language for over five years. Passionate about languages, as well as social sciences, art, music and politics, I strive to make my lessons as rich and diverse as possible, adapting them to the needs of each student.
With university degrees in art history, sociology and international cooperation, I can tailor my lessons specifically for people working or studying in these fields, particularly in the humanitarian and international cooperation sector. Whether you're a beginner or looking to improve your language skills in a professional context, my lessons can meet your expectations.
Lessons take place online via Google Meet, with content carefully prepared on Google Docs to suit each individual's objectives. My fluency in English and Italian also enables me to target the needs of speakers of these languages more precisely. I also have basic knowledge of Spanish and Arabic.

Lessons resume on October 2nd. To guarantee a time slot that suits you and to organize the group lessons, please contact me as soon as possible. I offer different types of lessons adapted to your needs and objectives, which you can discover below. If you have any questions or would like to book your first lesson, please don't hesitate to contact me!
The first lesson (offered) → To assess your level, understand what your expectations are and what your goals are.
INDIVIDUAL LESSONS, with homework and full support (25€/hour) → For in-depth and personalized learning of the French language.
GROUP LESSONS (10€/hour) → A gentle and accessible way to practice French.
*Beginner/A1 level group: focuses on verbs, basic grammar and learning vocabulary to form simple sentences.
*Intermediate/A2-B1 level group: focuses on expression, comprehension and more advanced learning of grammar rules for better proficiency in the language.
*Advanced/B2-C1 level group: focuses on conversation to maintain regular use of French, correct some errors, perfect pronunciation and acquire more precise vocabulary.
COMBO PACKAGE (35€ per week): 1 hour individual lesson with homework and full follow-up + 1 hour group lesson → For personalized learning with more focus on conversation.
BONUS: Meet up once a month in Rome for French pastries at the Carré Français (open to all, for the price of your own consumption).
TRANSLATION AND PROOFREADING → In addition to French lessons, I also offer translation and proofreading services. Thanks to my experience working for academic institutions, research centers, and United Nations agencies, I can provide you with accurate and high-quality translations. My hourly rate is 15 euros for translations and 10 euros for proofreading services. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your specific needs!

Perfect! Emma è veramente un'insegnante preparata che riesce non solo a trasmetterti la passione per la lingua, ma anche a farti raggiungere i tuoi obiettivi. Grazie al suo metodo di insegnamento, sono riuscita a superare un corso piuttosto difficile di francese all'università, composto da più moduli e dalla durata di 6 mesi. Che dire, ringrazio tanto Emma per la pazienza che ha avuto con me e per la sua bravura! Veramente un'insegnante che consiglio a tutti qualsiasi sia il livello che si voglia raggiungere.

Ho scelto Emma tramite la lista di Professori/esse presenti sul sito e non me ne sono pentita! Emma è un' insegnante giovane e per questo dinamica e colloquiale. Le lezioni volavano per quanto erano piacevoli ed interessanti. Inoltre, è molto preparata e sa perfettamente come aiutare le tue lacune o difficoltà linguistiche. Purtroppo ho dovuto interrompere le lezioni ma non vedo l'ora di riniziarle insieme a lei!
Brillante, competente, appassionata, Emma ha la formidabile capacità di calibrare la lezione sulle esigenze degli allievi. Nel mio caso, non mi ha solo guidato nel potenziamento delle competenze linguistiche (grammatica, scritto, orale), ma è stata anche capace di supervisionare la stesura di reports per l'ONU e presentazioni per convegni.
Emma è adorabile, è una bravissima insegnante, si adatta perfettamente alle esigenze dell'allievo, è super incoraggiante ed è grazie al suo aiuto che ho superato il DELF B2. È inoltre una persona con cui ci si sente super a proprio agio
