About Andrés

My name is Andres and I was born in Bogotá, Colombia. I studied in an Italian school in Bogotá. I love languages because they create a connection between people and it's such a great way to understand the reality of many different people and places in the world. I studied mechanical engineering and master degree in turkey. I speak, Italian, Turkish, English, Spanish and I’m learning by myself french.
Since I finished my high school I started giving online classes to primary and high school students back home.

About the class

In accordance to the budget of the Council of Europe regarding training for teachers- acknowledged in documents such as the European Portofolio for Student Teachers of Languages (EPOSTL) or the high educational standards proposed by the European Association for Quality Language Services (EAQUALS)-, with me , I can state that the docent competence of a teacher of Spanish includes a combination of knowledge, of teaching, professional, communication, intercultural and learning abilities, and aptitudes of various natures, as well as the capacity to integrate all of it in the teacher´s practice. Not only when it comes to planning the education program, carrying it out and evaluating it in a specific context, but also when it comes to reflecting on the processes of teaching and learning.
