About Pierina

Hello! I am Pierina but you can call me Pieri, I'm a native Spanish speaker. I was born in South America, and have lived in Venezuela, Chile, Mexico and currently, I'm living in Melbourne, Australia. I began teaching English and Spanish when I was about 16 years old, so I have a wide experience with all kinds of people. On the other hand, I am a professional actress, that's why I love making my classes fun and friendly! I love traveling, practicing yoga, teaching in all ways, and meeting new places/people.

About the class

My classes are diverse, fun and adaptable to every student. I like focusing on my student's interests, goals and needs so that we can improve at your rhythm. In classes, we don't only use books, as we also practice speaking, writing, reading and listening, real-life situations and enjoyable activities. I will give you all that you need to go through, so you only have to focus on your attendance! The typical and recommended length of a lesson is 90 minutes (an hour and a half) but it's up to you how many hours you'd like to study per week. I teach all levels, and ages from 8 years old. See you in class!

Perfect! Pierina is the best Spanish teacher! She is so patient, kind, and Pierina brings such a positive energy to every lesson. Learning with her never feels stressful — she makes every class fun, engaging, and something I genuinely look forward to each week.

What I love most is how Pierina tailors the lessons to exactly what I want to learn, so everything feels personal, useful, and exciting. She’s incredibly encouraging and has helped me grow so much in confidence with speaking Spanish.
