About Mariana
Olá! Como estás? My name is Mariana, I was born and raised in Portugal, in Porto and I now live in the UK. I'm excited to have the opportunity to share my passion for languages and my knowledge of Portuguese language and culture. I'm currently studying biomedical sciences at the University of Sussex, but I'm also interested in music, food and, of course, languages!

I am a native Portuguese speaker from Portugal, passionate about my language and committed to teaching and sharing my knowledge of it. I promote a safe and creative environment where students can learn at their own pace. By starting to focus on basic vocabulary and grammar, we can create a good foundation and then move on to more complex concepts, depending on your needs and expectations. You will be able to learn more about the culture and language through a fun and relaxed learning experience. I mainly teach beginner level, but I can also teach intermediate.
