About Becky

I was born in America, but raised in China. I speak Mandarin and Wenzhounese, though I’m more comfortable with Mandarin. I’m currently a High School Senior and becoming a language teacher is one of my career fields that I’m interested in.

About the class

My teacher approach is simple. I start with a baseline, asking students to read a small paragraph as well as words that sound similar in Mandarin. This is where accent reduction comes in, I always start with basics and then practice one on one dialogue with and without scripts.
