About Joe
안녕하세요! Hello! My name is Joe, and I was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. These days, I’m based in Canada, where I’ve been enjoying new experiences and meeting people from all over the world. I studied Arabic at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and worked for over 10 years in global trade, including a few years abroad as an expat in Thailand. Along the way, I’ve traveled to more than 40 countries, which gave me a love for exploring different cultures and an open, flexible mindset. Languages have always been a big part of my life — I’ve studied English, Arabic, and Chinese — so I truly understand the ups and downs of learning a new language. That’s why I’m passionate about making Korean learning both approachable and rewarding. My students often describe me as responsible, patient, and encouraging. I take time to listen, support your goals, and guide you step by step. Perfect! Joe is very well-prepared for the class, and the entire lesson was truly beneficial. He already knows which pronunciations are difficult for foreigners and explains them clearly at our level. When I make mistakes or don’t understand something, he patiently goes over it again and again. These days, I also interested in Korean food, and when I asked him about it, he even shared some easy recipes. Thanks to him,I’m becoming more interested in Korea
