About Benjamin
I was born in Paris, France and lived there over 25 years and 5 years in New Zealand, Australia and now in Canada. i started to be a French tutor 4 years ago in New Zealand, but i started to teach at the University in 2015. I studied Communication at the Sorbonne University in Paris. i've worked as a communication manager and International coordinator for over 5 years at the Sorbonne.

My results have been excellent and some of my students came first in French in the whole school in their Year Group.
I usually teach students ages 7 to 13 as well as adults.

Perfect! Benjamin took into account the lessons my son was studying in school to craft a precise lesson plan that exactly fit his skill level and filled in the gaps where he needed help the most.
He is patient, thorough, detailed (he doesn't let the kid slack!) and very skilled at what he does. My son enjoys his tutoring sessions and we are really pleased with the improvement in his French pronunciation and vocabulary.Perfect! My son needed to get more oral and listening practice with French as he wasn't getting enough at school. Benjamin was able to take the material that my son was learning at school and plan out lessons that suited my son. Ben was easy to work with and my 11 year old son loved him. Great teacher. Well prepared,
Benjamin is a very professional teacher and it’s fun to have class with him. He always identifies my learning difficulties so fast and precisely, and helps me a lot working on those issues. Learning French with him is never boring, I barely notice time each time I was having class with him. Highly recommended!
Benjamin is an excellent tutor and he is really interested in the progress of a student! Lessons are logically structured. In our classes Benjamin provided grammar materials, new vocabulary, phonetics practice, a variety of exercises, speaking, home assignments, etc.
I highly recommend him!Benjamin was recommended to me by Friends. He is a great tutor who breaks down complex grammar into easy to understand concepts. He helps a lot with all sorts of TEF/TCF preparation, from oral practice to providing lots of practice essay topics, and he always gives very insightful and helpful feedback. I really enjoyed my lessons with Benjamin and he definitely helped me achieve a much higher mark than I would have without him.
We are really impressed with Benjamin's tutoring style. He is always gentle and attentive to my pre-teen sons, who has been learning French for 5 years. They truly enjoy Benjamin's tuition, as Benjamin makes every lesson inspiring and acknowledges our son's efforts.
Benjamin is good at choosing the best French teaching approach respective to each student's age and language-level. We would definitely recommend Benjamin as a competent French tutor to all in any age, from French-beginners to advanced learners.Having not studied french all year, my 9 yr old son needed urgent help to pass an end of year school exam in order to be allowed to take french the following year. I contacted Benjamin who responded immediately and came to our house to teach him twice per week. Benjamin is 100% reliable, very enthusiastic and my son really enjoyed his lessons. He passed the exam and is allowed to continue french next year so we will continue with the lessons.
