I love sharing my language and helping children, teenagers and adults learn French in a fun, practical and confidence-building way. Lessons are tailored to each learner and focus on conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary, and practical French. Available in Oxfordshire or online.

About the class

Hello,

I am a native French speaker, a mum of two children (15 and 11), and I have been living in the UK for over 10 years

I have personally taught French to my own children alongside the British school system, and they are now fully bilingual, both spoken and written. This experience has given me a deep understanding of how English-speaking children and teenagers learn French, and the common difficulties they face (pronunciation, sentence structure, confidence when speaking).

I am not a qualified teacher, but I have real, hands-on experience teaching French in a natural, structured and supportive way. My approach is patient, encouraging and adapted to each child’s age, level and needs.

I offer French support for:
• children and teenagers
• conversational French
• maintaining bilingualism
• school support and GCSE preparation
- adults (beginners or conversation)

My goal is to help students feel confident using French, enjoy the language and make steady progress, without pressure or stress.

In-person lessons are available in and around Wantage at no extra cost. For travel further afield, I add a small £5 supplement to cover time and fuel. Online lessons remain at the standard hourly rate.
