About Andres

I grew up in a small coffee town in Colombia. I recently moved to the United States this year with my wife and 2 cats. While my ultimate aspiration is to become a commercial pilot, teaching holds a special place in my heart. It offers me the unique privilege of connecting with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds, each with their own fascinating stories and experiences. Sharing my language while learning about others' journeys makes every lesson a rewarding adventure.

About the class

Experience a safe and supportive environment where you can confidently practice and perfect your speaking skills with personalized guidance. My teaching style is focused on conversation and less on lesson plans. We pick a topic each lesson to discuss in Spanish, and I will help guide you through the conversation, correcting pronunciation, expanding on your vocabulary, and boosting your confidence as you speak.

Andres is a genuine person and very easy to talk to. He has made it really easy for me to learn and speak Spanish. The way he speaks slowly, doesn't use any slang, and will re-structure a sentence in order to say it a different way - all of this makes me feels makes me feel like I can accomplish my goal of traveling to a Spanish speaking country and communicate with natives

Andres is an extremely nice and patient person. He has helped me with Spanish and doesn't make me feel stupid when I mess up. He creates a very comfortable and safe environment, while also making it fun. I have always wanted to go to Colombia, so we mainly discussed the culture in Colombia which has kept learning so interesting
