About Ela
Ela Salinas attained her voice teaching certification at New York Vocal Coaching by Justin Stoney.
Her path of musicianship started with singing in a classical choir (Triglavski zvonovi, Slovenia), classical guitar training (Glasbena sola Jesenice) and advanced to pop singing (Studio Osminka).
At Slovenia's got talent 2013 she got into semi-finals with her original song.
Her performances as a vocalist and an instrumentalist included local and regional festivals, cultural and sports events, such as Vegafest (Slovenia), Planica World Ski Jumps (Slovenia), MANO festival (Germany), S.O.S. festival (Slovenia); etc.
In November 2025 she performed alongside Katja Koren and Big Band Slovenija, singing back vocals.
At the moment she is teaching voice lessons in Los Angeles, as well as performs on private events.

I am very good at mixing fun with hard work. I listen to each student and incorporate their wishes into my teachings, so you get exactly what you want out of your lessons. I always prepare extra for every student. I consider my students my friends as it is rewarding to watch them all grow with my help. I am simple and compassionate. I will teach you about your breathing, registers, vibrato… you will have a strong, healthy voice and a great ear. You will know how to take care of your instrument, how to practice, what to practice and when. For anyone that is interested in reading music or learning more about music theory I will happily teach you. My teachings are designed for beginners (children & adults) intermediate and advanced. Let’s have some fun!

Perfect! Ela is an excellent teacher, especially for a senior citizen beginner! Extremely knowledgeable, patient, professional, and willing to customize my lessons to exactly what I needed to do to improve. My band leader was very impressed with my progress in such a short time! I highly recommend her!

Perfect! Ela was very patient and kind. On our very first lesson she helped me stretch my voice to a place that other teachers have not. She laid out a roadmap of areas that need work and her thoughts on how we can get there. She stressed that the lessons will be fun for me, and that we will practice music I like as we work on the fundamentals and find my own unique style. This was much different in my experience with other teachers who seemed to have a set of standard songs within THEIR genre preference they use to practice areas of development, but were no fun because I did like the genre. I perceive that as a bit lazy. But Ela asked for MY top three songs that she will review prior to my next lesson!

Ela is very focused on helping you achieve your goals. She uses vocal exercises skillfully to help you get the most out of your voice. She is very knowledgeable and knows how to share that knowledge with her students. Would definitely recommend to any students looking to improve their vocal performance abilities.
Ela takes the time to understand her student’s individual vocal level and from there, develops a specialized lesson plan. She learns even unfamiliar songs that they want to sing so that she can properly focus on the exercises they need to develop for them to reach that goal.
Ela is knowledgeable about her craft. She invests in her own professional development to better understand how her students are experiencing the learning journey (something teachers often forget!) and how to best guide each individual to their goals.
I am a pastor In Glendale CA and hire musicians and vocalists for worship service. Ela plays classical guitar and sings very well. I recommend Ela because of her professionalism. She is punctual, and always communicates any issues or questions she has. Ela is friendly and talented. I highly recommend her as a teacher and performer.
