About Freya
I’ve just completed a degree in Medicinal Chemistry and am now going onto a masters. I’ve always loved Chemistry and I am passionate about helping students enjoy it. I’ve also worked as a Science Technician in a school during my gap year and ran an after school science club for year 7’s.

The first lesson will be free as a means to get to know the student, understand how they learn best and create a plan for the future sessions after finding out what needs to be addressed.
I approach each student differently as we all have different ways of understanding. I like to apply chemistry to everyday situations so that the student understands why they’re learning what they’re learning and can relate to the subject. I think that when students struggle in school, it doesn’t mean that they don’t have the ability, but that they need a different environment and approach to learning. I am also comfortable teaching students with various learning disabilities or difficulties.
