About Ken
Hi, my name is Ken and I am a 2nd year medical student at Hull York Medical School. I studied A-Level in Edexcel Maths, OCR B Chemistry, AQA Biology and Edexcel Geography at the Judd School and achieved AAAB in A level in 2024. I achieved grade 8 for AQA Biology, Chemistry and Edexcel A Geography in GCSE and a 9 in Edexcel Maths, as well as B in OCR Level 3 FSMQ in 2022.
I have over 2 years experience in tutoring students for Maths and Chemistry, and have mentored students in GCSE Biology and KS3 Maths at school. For A levels, I achieved A in Maths, Chemistry and Geography, and B in Biology in 2024.
My teaching methods can be tailored according to your personal study needs and the lesson time will be 1 hour, either online through Teams or face-to-face in your home, a public space or at my home at York (available in Tonbridge during holidays). I can also suggest you the best methods to revise for your subjects, as well as giving you valuable tips for revision and exams. I look forward to hearing your messages and I will be able to tutor you personally to help you through the difficult times in preparing for your exams!

Hello students, I am an enthusiastic person who can teach you in ways you find most helpful, whether it is by words, by pictures, by videos. I can teach you in an efficient and fun way to encourage your learning.
The typical lesson will be 1 hour, with a starting activity to gauge your knowledge and then some teaching to fill in your gaps of knowledge. After that, we will attempt some questions to consolidate your knowledge before setting a short piece of homework for next lesson.
