I have been a tutor for the past three years, teaching science to both native and non-native English-speaking students specialising in GCSE and A level content. My priority is both working with the student to identify weaknesses to fill in gaps in understanding and on exam technique which is what makes a good grade into an excellent one!
For biology, I prefer a more holistic approach aiming for a complete mental mind map covering the specification. Linking topics together is key to understanding and memorising content.
As for chemistry, a more structured approach with focus on strong fundamentals will help you the most in the long run!
Lessons are typically an hour long and delivered via Zoom but can be negotiated to preference.
