About Angela
Hi! I am Angela, a medical student in London. I would be going into 5th year but, instead, I am taking 3 years out to conduct research for my PhD.
I have previously taught students of various levels, from language tutoring to primary age children to peer tutoring medical students in anatomy and clinical skills.

I tutor students in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) and Maths (depending on the level). Having taken these subjects at IB level (A-level equivalent) and utilising them both as a medical student and in my research, I have a firm understanding of them and hope that by tutoring students, I will help build their confidence and achieve the academic results they desire.
I am a medical student, but I am currently doing a PhD in breast cancer research before resuming my medical studies. I have achieved As and A*s in my GCSEs and all 7s in the International Baccalaureate (A*s as an A Level equivalent).
I have some experience tutoring these subjects in the past couple of years but as my availability has increased, I am hoping to expand my tutoring base.
Given my background, I can also support students interested in pursuing a career in medicine or related scientific fields. I am happy to help with personal statements and the application process, provide advice and insight onto the life of a medical/science PhD student. I am happy to offer a discounted first/trial lesson to get to know the student, identify areas of strength and weakness and how I might be able to help.
The first session will also be an opportunity to set goals and discuss the plan for our lessons in order to maximise their benefit. Depending on the student's level and needs, we will then work on further consolidating various areas using exercises, past papers etc. Lessons are typically 1 hour long but this can be adjusted accordingly.
I am able to offer in-person tutoring depending on your location, but online would be the preferred format.
