In standard 9, I faced some difficulty in a few topics of mathematics. I hadn’t joined any tuition/coaching classes and thus turned to my friend Anosh for help (as he had already studied these topics, being age-wise & academically ahead of me). That is the first time he helped me in maths & thereafter, I always turned to him for help, because I liked the way he taught.

In Junior College, I chose mathematics as an optional subject. The mathematics that we study after standard 10 is quite different & advanced. I found a few topics really difficult: logarithms, integration, application of derivatives. I was unable to understand these topics well in my college lectures. So, before semester exams, Anosh taught me whatever I hadn’t understood in college. He taught everything CONCEPTUALLY and in detail, and not just with an approach that I need to be able to solve sums in my exams. Whenever I didn’t understand concepts the first time, he was patient enough to teach me again. He taught me at my pace and tried to make concepts seem easy. I understood what he taught and realised that the topics were not as complex as i thought them to be. This boosted my confidence & I developed a liking towards the topics that I disliked the most!
