About Spruha
I am a fourth-year Honours Life Sciences student at McMaster University with experience tutoring high school mathematics and chemistry. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt each lesson to their individual strengths, challenges, and goals.
I use previous tests, targeted practice questions, and step-by-step explanations to identify areas for improvement and make difficult concepts more manageable. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to strengthen their problem-solving skills and confidence. I provide constructive feedback, encourage questions, and create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.

Each lesson is personalized to the student’s current understanding, learning style, and academic goals. We can review class material, work through homework, prepare for upcoming tests, or strengthen foundational skills.
I begin by identifying where the student is struggling and then explain the concept using clear, manageable steps. We apply the material through targeted practice questions, including questions from previous tests when available. I provide immediate feedback, correct misconceptions, and teach problem-solving strategies that students can apply independently.
Lessons are available for high school mathematics and chemistry and are suitable for students seeking regular support, test preparation, or additional practice.
