About Pelumi
I want to teach as I believe “if you cannot explain it simply, you do not understand it well enough” as said by Einstein. This is just not for you to improve but for me to also apply my knowledge. I have also seen many people write themselves off as ‘not being a maths person’ and I did that too. I want more people to see that maths can truly be fun if you know how to approach and also push more people to get those top grades.

I aim to make maths fun, when I was taught maths I found it boring and didn’t see any use to what I was learning. I believe that you learn much better when you are enjoying and truly understanding what is being taught. So when tutoring you I will make our sessions engaging and ask you to also share your own approaches and thought processes. You will see progress with me, at the end of Year 10 I had failed my maths GCSE mock and didn’t see how I would improve. By the end of Year 11 I walked out of results day with an A* all with my own work and perseverance. I hope to do that for you too.
