I was born and raised in Toronto, lived for 4 years in Hamilton, and now live out in Newfoundland where I am pursuing my Master's Degree. In my spare time outside of classes I like to create art, enjoy nature, and cook. I love camping and working outdoors as well, and have worked in a tree planting camp for 3 planting seasons now.

I like to start every first lesson going over goals, timelines, and the main difficulties a student is facing. I like to go over what they have learned in the lesson prior in the beginning of a lesson, as a refresher to what they learned in class. Go over some examples step by step, and illustrating problems as well. I like to end each session by introducing the next topic the student will learn in class so they can already have a basis understanding of the new concepts, or at least have heard of them before and can make connections to previous lessons.
My lessons are mainly aimed at first year math students, high school, and middle school level math, but I am open and willing to tutor at levels below that.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to illustrate a problem, relating it to the real world, and being able to go step by step, sometimes even breaking the steps into smaller steps.
