About Laura

I have experience tutoring students in Algebra and pre calculus. I also served as a tutor for Vector Calculus at Dartmouth College. Additionally, I have experience teaching younger students, and coaching tennis.

I can work over zoom, in person in Boston, and over other methods. I will find a way to make sessions interactive by using technology and tools to work on problems together.

About the class

I’ve had many math tutors in the past and have learned from their teaching. I think it can be fun to learn and I want to adjust to your learning style while also helping you learn new skills! We can find a way to make math fun :)

I have been lucky to know Laura for almost four years, and I could not recommend someone more!! Not only does Laura have one of the best attitudes and personalities of anyone I have ever met, but she is also extremely patient, smart, capable, and overall the best option for a tutor you can find. Laura assisted me heavily in several math heavy college courses, and I still lean on her for help in academics, the workplace, and for life advice in general. Laura is not only an incredible choice for your tutor needs, but she is also just an amazing person to know, by far one of the best people I know myself.

Laura really helped me understand what I was doing wrong. She never gave me answers and always made me think for myself. She’s super kind and patient and really helped me learn and start to enjoy math.
