I’ll tell you a unique example of what teaching slow means. Say you have a very complicated tangle in your hair, it’s impossible to comb and you feel cutting it off is the only option. But, if you pull strand by strand from the lock, it eventually narrows down to the actual complicated part, which automatically detaches when all strands are loose. That’s how simple learning is. My class will start with getting an update from the student about tasks given by the end of the previous session, will talk about how it could be better, continue with the topic planned for the day or special revision in case of upcoming tests. Finally assigning doable tasks based on individual kid.
