About Arndt
For over ten years I have been giving tutoring lessons in the subjects of mathematics, statistics, economics, physics, chemistry, both professionally and privately to friends and relatives.
In addition to my diploma in economics, I studied psychology and thus psychologically examined many teaching methods and textbook texts.
In my opinion, a teaching method should arouse interest and be fun so that it is efficient in terms of its goals (sustainable teaching of subject content).

Over the years I have heard the following sentence from my students over and over again:
"Now, having the topic explained in such a way, I have understood it!"
So it came about that I myself dealt with why the kids have such difficulty understanding certain content.
In my opinion, the reason for this lies in one or more of the following points:
1. The student has no personal connection to the topic and therefore finds it boring or unnecessary;
2. The student has lost touch at some point, which makes it even more difficult to understand the new topic that may be based on it;
3 . Due to unfavorable (teacher) experiences, the student has developed the conviction that s*he simply cannot understand a certain subject.
In my experience, the cause of bad grades is rarely the student alone.
Instead it is largely due to the teachers' inability to prepare a topic in an exciting way and to convey it in such a way that the student enjoys and is able to understand it.
Based on these basic ideas I have started to develop my own teaching methodology, which I have been applying successfully for more than five years now.
