About Robert
For me, my tutoring influence was a professor Mr. Escobar. He was always there for my peers and my questions we had for any math topic, and I feel I took some of his personality traits and use them when I tutor. What I mean is that I am patient and understanding with the students, and I used this during my master's program when I TA'd for courses as well. I was complimented on my TA skills and had students thank me for explaining concepts in a simpler way to understand. But truly, math is a hard subject, but I am confident in my ability to make someone ace the courses if they put in the effort as well along with the tutoring. Math is daunting, but it is doable and I will make it easy to deal with.

My teaching method usually involves having the student explain the topic themselves, I also focus in on the fundamentals because that is where everything can be resolved.
A typical lesson plan is progressing through the topic, first day going over the fundamentals for the problem, days after until they are confident on the topic is doing problems & real world examples & applications of said problem to make it easier to understand. Presenting problems with real world applications truly makes the material easier to grasp for the student, as with math a lot of it is very theoretical and is usually hard to grasp.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to explain concepts in a way that is easy to understand for the student. I am confident in my ability to do this and am capable of making someone ace their mathematics courses from middle school up to differential equations and mathematical statistics (college level courses).
