About Swagata
Hello! My name is Swagata Shrivastava, and I am currently pursuing my Master’s in German Studies at JNU (Jawaharlal Nehru University). As a passionate language learner and teacher, I enjoy helping students build confidence in German in a simple, supportive, and encouraging environment.
I have a strong academic background in the German language and culture, and I understand the challenges beginners often face while learning a new language. Because of this, I focus on making lessons clear, interactive, and adapted to each student’s pace and goals.
At 21, I bring both enthusiasm and patience to my classes, and I aim to create a friendly atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions and practicing without hesitation. Whether you are learning German for school, exams, higher studies, travel, or personal interest, I would be happy to guide you step by step from A1 to B1 level.
I believe that consistency, encouragement, and practical learning are the keys to language success, and I look forward to helping students achieve their goals with confidence.

I believe that learning German becomes much easier when students feel comfortable and motivated in class. My approach is friendly, patient, and interactive, with a focus on helping students understand concepts clearly instead of just memorizing rules. I try to create lessons that are engaging and adapted to each student’s level and learning pace.
In my classes, I usually begin with a short revision of the previous lesson before introducing new grammar or vocabulary. I explain topics in a simple way, followed by exercises, conversation practice, reading, and small activities to help students use the language naturally. I also provide regular practice material and guidance to improve speaking confidence, pronunciation, and sentence formation.
One of my strengths as a teacher is that I make students feel comfortable asking questions and speaking without fear of making mistakes. I focus on building a strong grammar foundation while also encouraging practical communication skills. My classes are personalized, supportive, and designed to make learning German enjoyable rather than stressful.
The classes are intended for beginners and intermediate learners from A1 to B1 level, including school students, college students, and adults who want to learn German for academics, exams, travel, work, or personal interest.
