About the class

Eric Elkin’s Personalized Math & Science Tutoring

Teaching Method & Techniques:
I focus on building a strong foundation by breaking complex concepts into manageable pieces. Using real-world examples and hands-on problem-solving, I ensure students grasp not just how but why something works. My sessions encourage active participation, questions, and practical applications, fostering a deeper understanding.

Typical Lesson Plan:

Warm-Up (5-10 mins): Review of previous topics or a quick quiz to reinforce learning.

Core Concept (20-30 mins): Introduction and breakdown of the day’s topic with examples.

Practice (20 mins): Guided and independent problem-solving tailored to the student’s needs.

Wrap-Up (5 mins): Recap key takeaways and discuss next steps or homework.

What Sets Me Apart:

My sessions are customized for each student, blending empathy, patience, and adaptability. With an emphasis on simplifying the complex, I help students of all levels build confidence and excel in their studies. I also integrate technology and visual aids to make lessons engaging and effective.

Who Are These Lessons For?
Whether you're a high schooler tackling AP Physics, a college student struggling with calculus, or someone just looking to brush up on STEM basics, my tutoring is tailored to meet your level and goals.
