About MAHMUD
I am a first year studying Bsc Mathematics and Economics at The London School of Economics and Political Science. I pursued my A-Levels in the following subjects: Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Chemistry and Turkish achieving grades A*A*AA respectively. I am an individual that enjoys and appreciates the value of teaching. As much as it is important to learn, I believe that teaching is as important because it can open your mind to different perspectives. Therefore when I tutor, because I enjoy and learn from it, it automatically creates an atmosphere where both individuals are enthusiastic which I believe is much more productive and efficient. This is one of the main reasons I believe I am very suitable to teach and understand. Throughout my studies I have always used different and unique methods of revising and exam techniques which I believe is very important for any individual. Hence when I tutor I spend effort to learn what kind of an individual I am interacting with to suggest him to specific revision and understanding methods, due to each individual having a different way of understanding and interpreting information. I have experienced many different styles of revision including intensive study courses which I carried out for my Chemistry A-Level so I would be able to explain how things should be dealt with under stress. Moreover I believe, I am an individual that can relate to any students method of processing information and mental ability, which allows me to teach specifically for each individual student.
