About Meghan
I have always taught English—it's the only thing I ever wanted to do. I love the Classics and have a very good eye for editing (polishing writing). I have worked with students from 9th - 12th grade, including DL and AP students. I have spent the majority of my years with 10th and 11th graders, teaching American and English lit. When I first started teaching (back in 1998!), I included ACT prep into my classroom instruction. This became something I really enjoyed, and when I went abroad to teach (American School of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and American School of Monterrey, Mexico), students were in need of ACT and SAT prep. Thus, I began test-prep tutoring sessions for 3-15 students. This continued in the US with after school crash courses.

We can also work on ACT and SAT reading and writing sections, as I have 25+ years of full-class preparation and individual/small tutoring for these exams. I have taught all levels of students, including Diverse Learners and AP English Language students, and I enjoy them all and can tailor my instruction to fit your needs and learning style.
