About Reemul
Hi everyone! I'm Reemul, a journalist with five years of experience and a tutor of French and English, also with five years of experience. I graduated from Durham University in 2016 with a degree in history and French then did a Masters in Film, before going into journalism. I'm an engaging and fun tutor experienced teaching students of KS3 and GCSE ages French and I have also taught students at university level. However, my speciality lies in teaching the basics of the language on a spoken, written and listening level including all the standard verb conjugations, sentence formation, pronunciation, key vocabulary, and topics covered in the student's syllabus. I love it when a student understands a topic that was previously problematic and they can explain it to me themselves. Happy to answer any questions!

In my first lesson with a student, I focus on the student's syllabus and speak to the parents too as to what goals they would like to achieve by a certain time period. Depending on the student, I may start with the most important aspects if they haven't mastered those. I would assess the student based on different sets of questions to gauge their standard and they can clarify what their problem areas are and then I can suggest the best ways to tackle these. Per lesson, I would include a variety of exercises specifically focusing on what the exam board is targeting. Ultimately, I want the student to learn but do it in a fun, professional and engaging way! Any questions feel free to ask me and I will reply as soon as I can.
