Joos has been my Dutch teacher for over a year and I cannot speak more highly of her teaching skills and professionalism. I have had the opportunity to have her in both group classes as well as individual and both have proven successful to increase my knowledge in my foreign language study. Joos is an excellent teacher! We had a group with people at a few different levels, and Joos tailored the lessons so that they were accessible and useful for each of us.

Joos is truly an amazing teacher! I have struggled for a long time to learn the Dutch language but Joos has the remarkable gift of making each class engaging, interactive and fun! She works with your needs on how you can best learn, for me it's music. And helps you understand not only the fundamentals of the language but also how the language is used colloquially. Joos is the kind of person with whom you immediately feel comfortable. During our shared studies of General Linguistics we learned how languages work; not just Dutch but the mechanisms of languages in general. This helicopter view allows Joos to quickly zoom in on your personal challenges with the Dutch language, based on your native language. Her playful way of teaching - using humor, keeping it light, and allowing room for mistakes - will make you enjoy learning.

Joos is a super nice teacher! Responsible and efficient, always comes up with nice content for the class and when I realise what time it is, our 1,5hr class is over, the time flies :) I 100% recommend Joos to the people who want or need to learn Dutch.
